Deon has had the privilege of working with children and families in a variety of settings, including faith-based, educational, and community-based environments. This breadth of experience has shaped her compassionate, client-centered approach and deepened her understanding of family dynamics across the lifespan.

With a passion for couples and families, Deon offers a supportive and nonjudgmental space to explore challenges, strengthen communication, and foster deeper connection. She provides an inclusive and welcoming environment for individuals, couples, and families. She works with children as young as age 6.

Her work is grounded in evidence-based practices, including narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), collaborative approaches, and emotionally focused therapy. Deon’s training and certifications include play therapy, trauma-informed care, and school-based services. Regardless of modality, therapy is tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual, couple, or family.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, Deon approaches healing through a relational lens—focusing not on labeling individuals, but on understanding the interactional patterns and relationship dynamics that contribute to emotional distress. She works collaboratively with clients to examine how communication, roles, boundaries, and emotional connection impact overall well-being.

Deon values the importance of feeling heard, valued, and secure in relationships and strives to support individuals and families in building connections rooted in love, respect, and understanding.
