About Deanna Tesch, BS
Meet Deanna
Deanna has found Collaborative Therapy to be her preferred approach, as she believes each individual is unique in how they see and interact with the world. Through genuine listening and curiosity, Deanna helps clients broaden their perspectives to think about things in different, change-promoting ways. As Marriage and Family Therapy adopts a systemic lens, Deanna will help her clients discover the patterns and cycles that may be holding them back, or to better understand their role in the larger systems they interact with. Understanding these roles helps clients break negative interactional cycles, thoughts or actions and instead allows them to implement positive change or to THINK about the problem differently. Thinking differently leads to different actions and therefore different reactions, resulting in the breaking of negative interactional cycles.
Deanna welcomes clients of any ethnicity, ability, sexual orientation and religion and will do her best to ensure therapy is a positive, yet challenging experience for everyone. She enjoys taking collaborative, structural, or cognitive behavioral approaches to therapy, utilizing research-based and trauma-informed practices.
