Clinical Psychology Intern

Victoria (she/her) is a clinical psychology intern who loves working with teens and adults navigating life’s ups and downs, especially big changes like shifts in family structure, new beginnings, or unexpected challenges. She’s currently in her second year of a PhD program at Fielding Graduate University and brings four years of hands-on experience supporting children in residential and group home settings.
Victoria believes that real healing happens when clients feel empowered to share their stories and define what matters most to them. Rather than taking a “one-size-fits-all” or expert stance, she works alongside clients and their families to uncover strengths, build insight, and set priorities that feel right for them.
Her approach draws from psychodynamic therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), blending evidence-based strategies with an understanding that growth isn’t always a straight line. She helps clients notice patterns in their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, making space for deeper self-awareness and long-term personal growth.
Having grown up in a blended family herself, Victoria understands that changes like adoption, divorce, remarriage, or foster care placements can be complicated and emotional. She views these transitions through a trauma-informed lens, always acknowledging that change brings both challenges and opportunities.
Above all, Victoria strives to create an inclusive, welcoming space where clients can show up as their full selves—without judgment.
